What is Ember?

Ember is an AI-powered roast generator app. You provide text, a photo, or a screenshot, and Ember's AI creates a hilarious personalized roast in seconds.
Is Ember free to use?

Yes! The free tier gives you 3 roasts per day with 3 tones (Friendly, Savage, and Sarcastic). Premium unlocks unlimited roasts, all 10 tones, and Tone Blending.
What tones are available?

Ember offers 10 unique roast tones: Friendly, Savage, and Sarcastic are free. Brutal, Flirty, Corporate, Wholesome, Gen-Z, Poetic, and Dad Joke require Premium. Premium also unlocks Tone Blending — mix two tones for a unique style.
What languages does Ember support?

Ember detects your device language and generates roasts in that language. The app interface is in English, but AI-generated roasts adapt to your device's language setting.
Do I need to create an account?

No. Ember uses anonymous authentication — an account is automatically created on first launch. No email, password, or personal information required.
How do I subscribe to Premium?

Tap the Premium option in the app to view pricing. Premium is available as a weekly ($2.99/week) or monthly ($7.99/month) subscription via Apple In-App Purchase.
How do I cancel my subscription?

Go to your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions, find Ember, and tap Cancel Subscription. Your Premium access continues until the end of the current billing period.
Is my data private?

Yes. Ember uses anonymous authentication and does not collect emails, names, or passwords. Uploaded images are processed to generate roasts and stored with your anonymous account. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
